Solar Energizer:

1. First: Connect the red wire from the "Battery positive (+)" terminal of the Fence Minder™ to the positive (+) terminal on the battery.
2. Connect the black wire from the "Battery negative (-)" terminal of the Minder™ to the negative (-) terminal on the battery.
3. Second: Connect a solar panel directly to the battery (red for positive, black for negative).

NOTE: Some Solar Energizer manufacturers design the energizer and the solar panel as a single unit. These energizers CAN NOT be connected to the Fence Minder™ since the wiring of the solar energizer is internal.

NOTE: We recommend a 2 joule solar energizer and 10-watt solar panel as a minimum. These are expensive. Please call us at 1-888-430-3330 to discuss.
