A.2.1
SENSITIVITY
The
percentage variance of the fence voltage pulses at animal contact
(Alarm Type 1) is set using the three dip switches SW1-1, SW1-2 and
SW1-3.

If Alarm
Type 1 is false-triggered:
Sensitivity must be re-set one step up.
If insufficient Sensitivity is determined, re-set
one step down.
A.2.2
ENERGIZER VOLTAGE (not connected to the fence)
The value of the voltage pulse when any energizer is running with
no load is set using SW1-4, SW1-5 and SW1-6. The "Low Voltage Alarm"
(Alarm Type 2) is triggered when the fence voltage relative to ground
goes below 30% of this value.

The
initial default setting is for an ElectroBraid™ 2.5 joule energizer
is 500.
CAUTION:
The use of a different energizer will require proper adjustment
of this setting. In case of mismatch, the "Low Voltage Alarm" will
be triggered at a different level than expected (may be no alarm
or false alarm).
SETTING
THE ENERGIZER VOLTAGE AUTOMATICALLY:
The Fence Minder™ also has a Learning Mode that can determinel automatically
the correct Count value for an operating energizer.
