We became aware of the fencing needs of Non-Profits a few years
ago when we offered a "Field of Fencing" in a contest. We never
imagined how many deserving applications we would get.
Debi Ethredge won $4,000 worth of fencing based on her description
of the goals and needs of Camp New Life which keeps 5 horses on
5 acres. Debi is the Director of New Life Ministries, a Christian
outreach to inner-city youth in Jackson, Mississippi (see
her application letter).
Debi has since written: "I am so thankful to God and Electrobraid
that we have this new fence. My previous worries are now vague
memories. We no longer have horses escaping. We don't have our
horses and young riders getting injured on barb wire and electric
wire fencing. ElectroBraid doesn't break and, if it's cut, we
can repair it in minutes. It's virtually indestructible - - we
had a tornado take out 100 trees but left the ElectroBraid intact.
The only maintenance, in our lush environment, is to mow the weeds
from under the fence two or three times a year."
Since
Camp New Life, we have supplied dozens of Non-Profits with fencing
at half-price. Unfortunately, some very deserving Non-Profits
can't afford new fencing even at half-price. We decided to set
up a Program to offer fencing at no cost to selected deserving
Non-Profits.
